Pigeon Detectives

The Pigeon Detectives are an English indie rock band from Rothwell in Leeds, West Yorkshire, who formed in 2004. The band released Platinum-Selling album ‘Wait for Me’ and Gold-Selling album ‘Emergency’ and a further 3 albums.

The band have released five albums from 2007 to present. They performed at the Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2006, where they were tagged “the band most likely to leap to the main stage in 2007” in an NME review.

From the Jam

From the Jam are Bruce Foxton & Russell Hastings. Formed in 2007, From the Jam have been touring the world to sold out crowds ever since.

Following the success of 2012’s ‘Back in the Room’ album, the next album ‘Smash the Clock’ was released in 2016 to critical acclaim. In 2017 the band reached the top 10 in the UK with their album ‘From the Jam – Live!’.

Everly Pregnant Brothers

Bringing a bit of ey-up-Yorkshire-chuck to the beautiful town of Matlock. The Everly Pregnant Brothers are a power house of parody fuelled on best bitter, pork pies and raucous gigs. They regularly play to sell-out crowds in their native South Yorkshire and are rapidly growing a cult following far and wide.

Their humour and language is as broad as their lead singer Big Shaun which is all part of their charm as is the sing-a-long nature of their gigs.

Jungle Lion

Sheffield based Jungle Lion offer a massive kickass SKA band with 12 members that’ll knock your socks off, playing well known classics as well as heavily customised obscurities – peace, unity, good vibes and skankin basically.

Playing banging SKA and reggae, people just have to dance, try standing still, impossible, come join in.

Josephine & The Artizans

We booked Josephine and the Artizans for a homeless charity event in Sheffield last year and we were simply blown away. They are a London based Hip-Opera band that consist of classical strings, operatic vocals, heavy beats and energetic rap. Combining two genre’s that are so far apart – Hip-hop and Opera – they bring them together fantastically, it shouldn’t work, but it does with bells on.

Home town gig for this brilliant band. Out of the quiet town of Matlock come Patawawa – an electronic trio, featuring Sam Wilmot, Rory Lovatt and Beth Garrett, that blends beats to pump blood, glittered guitar riffs and basslines that bite. The three-piece have crafted a sound that stays true to the neon roots of funk and disco, but dress it with a cheekyness that could only have come out of Derbyshire.

Missing Andy

Missing Andy are a British mod influenced band based in Essex. The group comprises Alex Greaves, Jonathan Sharpe, Rob Jones, Steve Rolls and Elliot Richardson. The band’s debut single “The Way We’re Made (Made In England)” reached number 38 on the UK Singles Chart and number 7 on the UK Indie Chart in September 2010, after their status was confirmed as runners-up in Sky1’s television talent competition, Must Be The Music.

Velcro Teddy Bears

Rock and roll how it should be made, without the fanfare – but perhaps a paisley shirt or two – The Velcro Teddy Bears are Sam Chadwick (vocals), Mike Holland (drums), and brothers Mike Griffin (lead guitar), and Josh Griffin (bass guitar).

The ‘What Makes You Right?’ EP was released on DMF Digital on a limited-edition release of 100 CDs. The lead single ‘That’s What Makes You Right’ is also digitally available.

Lightning Seeds

Ian Broudie originally emerged from the post punk Liverpool music scene of the late seventies playing in the band ” Big in Japan” alongside fellow band members Bill Drummond (KLF) Holly Johnson (Frankie Goes to Hollywood) Budgie (The Slits/Souxie And The Banshees). Jayne Casey (Pink Military)
Before the band ended in 1979 they created the independent record label Zoo Records which would later feature the bands Teardrop Explodes and Echo & The Bunnymen.

The Wedding Present

The Wedding Present have had eighteen UK Top 40 hit singles… not bad for a band that has, from its inception, stubbornly refused to play the record industry’s game. That was back in 1985 when David Lewis Gedge boarded a National Express coach in London with 500 records packed into a pair of his mother’s suitcases. In this fashion, the debut single GO OUT AND GET ‘EM BOY! was collected from the pressing plant, delivered to the distribution company, and The Wedding Present was born.

The Rosadocs

Fresh from a sold out Leadmill headline gig The Rosadocs are a four piece Indie/Alt Rock band based in the Sheffield area. The Rosadocs are; Keelan Graney – Lead Vocals and Guitar, Joe Egan – Guitar and backing vocals, Adam Sleight – Bass and backing vocals and Callum Raynor – Drums. They formed in 2017 when Keelan found Joe through a musicians for wanted page. Joe joined the band playing lead guitar. Joe then brought Adam in on bass, through which he knew from an old band together.

After watching a video of The Jam performing ‘In the City’ live at the Circus and following years of getting into trouble together since high school, vocalist/rhythm guitarist Jamie Boyle and bassist Dexter Baker were inspired to pick up guitars and see what noise they could make themselves.

Oddity Road are Jack, Ethan, Dan and Joel all born and bred on the Manchester to Sheffield line.
